*RN-There is a full-time position open for a Registered Nurse. Twelve hour shifts, days and nights. Responsible for directing and evaluating the total nursing care for a 25 bed critical access hospital including the ER.

*Part time and a full time opening for a Dietary worker.

*Full time Certified Nursing Assistant

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll provide routine nursing care to assure the highest degree of quality resident and patient care that can be maintained at all times. This includes assisting in all aspects of bedside nursing care and activities in daily living. Responsibilities include promoting restorative nursing care as directed, recording resident/patient responses to specific restorative rehabilitation goals, and anticipating resident/patient needs and making rounds routinely. Success in this role requires the ability to recognize and respect the individual emotion, social and cultural needs of residents/patient including their religious beliefs. You'll be accountable for maintaining good communications and interpersonal relations with residents, visitors, providers and facility employees.

Dietary Supervisor

Dietary ManagerMy name is Vicki Weller and I am the Dietary Supervisor at Wheatland Memorial Healthcare.  I was born and raised in Iowa moving to Montana in 1980, so I consider myself a Montanan.  I have worked in healthcare since moving to Montana.  I am married and have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren.  I enjoy travelling, spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren.

I attended Trend Business College where I studied to become a Medical Assistant.  I also took courses in Basic Medical Coding and Medical Records Management, and a semester of American Sign Language.

I have worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide, Rehabilitation Aide, Health Unit Coordinator, First Responder EMS and Health Information Management Supervisor.  I am currently employed at Wheatland Memorial HealthCare as the Dietary Supervisor.

The Dietary Department at Wheatland Memorial Healthcare takes pride in serving appetizing, nutritious and well balanced meals.

Our menus at WMH follow the U.S.D.A  Dietary Guidelines in order to help patients recover and/or maintain better or current health.  These guidelines include eating a variety of foods with adequate starch and fiber, as well as avoiding excess fat, cholesterol, sugar, and salt.  Every effort is made to prepare our meals attractively and as flavorful as possible within guidelines of the diet ordered by the Provider.   Wheatland HealthCare contracts with a visiting Registered Dietician to ensure all nutritional needs are met.

Guest meals are available for a minimal fee for family and friends of Residents and Patients and can be purchased in advance in the Business office.
